Exam: listening in everyday life
The exam task. Listening in both exams lives in this unit’s world: appointments, messages, everyday plans, and above all clock times.
- Goethe-Zertifikat A2 Hören: four parts with five items each; two parts are played twice, two only once.
- ÖSD Zertifikat A2 Hören: three tasks; only the message with note gaps is played twice.
Checkpoint: open the listening simulator and do a full run — Goethe: aim for at least 20 of 25 points, ÖSD: at least 24 of 30.
Tip
Listen for correction words such as nicht, sondern, and nein. In um halb acht — nein, um acht, the confirmed time is eight. Do not choose a time merely because it is mentioned last.
