Writing the invitation

A written invitation gives the occasion, time and place, then asks the guest to reply. Example: Ich lade dich zu meiner Geburtstagsparty ein. Wir feiern am Samstag ab 19 Uhr bei mir zu Hause. Kannst du kommen? Schreib mir bitte bis Donnerstag. For a formal invitation, use Sie: Sie sind herzlich eingeladen.
