Who I am
At A2 you talk about your life in connected, natural sentences — not just “Ich heiße …”. Two patterns carry a lot of it, whether you answer your partner’s questions (Goethe) or introduce yourself (ÖSD):
- Ich arbeite als Verkäuferin bei einem Supermarkt.
- Ich wohne seit drei Jahren in Wien.
Tip
Stating your job normally takes no article: Ich arbeite als Lehrer. Ich bin Lehrerin. With an adjective the article is there: Ich bin eine gute Lehrerin.
