The sentence bracket
The verb bracket: the conjugated verb in position 2 and the second verb part — a prefix or an infinitive — at the end hold the sentence like a clamp. In the neutral order, the one you should write, objects and time and place details go inside: Ich kaufe nach der Arbeit im Supermarkt ein. In speech you will sometimes hear a time or place added after the bracket as an afterthought.
