Mir ist schlecht — set phrases

Some symptoms don’t start with ich — they start with Mir: Mir ist schlecht (I feel sick), Mir ist übel, Mir ist schwindelig, Mir ist kalt. Learn them as fixed chunks; the full Dativ system behind them comes in Unit 9.
