Work & jobs: vocabulary
Useful workplace nouns: die Firma, der Chef / die Chefin, der Kollege / die Kollegin, das Team, die Besprechung and die Pause. Der Feierabend means the end of the working day and also the free time after work.
Tip
Feierabend is a small celebration: Um fünf habe ich Feierabend — and Schönen Feierabend! is the goodbye to say at the door.
