Subordinate clause first
The weil-clause can also come first. Then the whole clause fills position 1 — and the main verb comes directly after the comma, verb meeting verb: Weil ich krank bin, bleibe ich zu Hause.

For the pattern practiced here, a fronted weil-clause is followed directly by the finite main-clause verb: Weil ich krank bin, bleibe ich zu Hause.
