Dative plural: den + n

In the dative plural, the definite article is den. Most plural nouns add -n: die Kinder → mit den Kindern; die Freunde → mit den Freunden. Plurals already ending in -n or -s do not add another ending: mit den Eltern, mit den Autos. Some other borrowed plurals also stay unchanged.
